Join your community in a year-long book club reading the ultimate book-- The Bible.

The Schedule:

To honor everyone's time this is the schedule we will keep:

  • 9:30-10:00 AM Optional Social Time
  • 10:00 AM Opening Prayer
  • 10:05-10:50 AM: We will all take time to share as equally as possible. Options for sharing include: favorite chapter or verse from reading, interpretation, companion scriptures that complement the text, takeaways or application to life, how you identify with a particular character, how the reading has inspired you to be different, how the reading has inspired you to teach others, or you tell us. You can pass if you choose.
  • 10:50 AM Closing Prayer and Meditation

Pop-Up Qi Gong with Tom Goodman

Join us at The Well Yoga Dubuque for a special pop-up Qi Gong class with longtime Dubuque teacher Tom Goodman. Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice combining gentle movement, breath, and mindfulness to reduce stress, improve balance, and restore energy. This class is accessible to all levels—no experience needed. Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, centered, and renewed.

About Tom

Tom Goodman has been serving the Dubuque community for decades—both as a public defender dedicated to justice and as a teacher passionate about holistic wellness. He began practicing yoga in 2001 and went on to complete his 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, along with additional training in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. In recent years, Tom has embraced Qi Gong, leading classes indoors and outdoors, including popular sessions at the Dubuque Arboretum. He has a level 2 certificate in Qigong (500 hours). His teaching is steady, approachable, and infused with a genuine desire to help others find balance and peace in body, mind, and spirit.
