I know what it feels like to hold everything together on the outside while feeling lost and disconnected on the inside. A few years ago, despite having a career I excelled in, a loving family, and a strong faith, I found myself overwhelmed by stress, shame, and depression. It was in that season of brokenness that I began to truly seek God — and in doing so, I rediscovered His peace and purpose for my life.
Through prayer, study, and the quiet work of healing, I realized that my struggles weren’t wasted. They became the very foundation of my calling: to create a space where others could slow down, reconnect with themselves, and find renewal through movement, mindfulness, and faith. That vision became The Well Yoga Dubuque.
Over the past ten years of teaching, I’ve seen how intentional, mindful movement can restore both body and spirit. My 300-hour training in yoga, somatic healing, and mindfulness allows me to meet each student where they are — whether they’re seeking strength, release, or simply a moment of stillness in their day.
Today, The Well offers a variety of in-person classes, on-demand video practices for busy lives, and an online self-paced healing program, Journey to Freedom. Each offering was created to help you feel at home in your body, awaken to your worth, and experience the peace that comes when you move with intention and trust that healing is possible.

Founder of The Well Yoga Dubuque | Yoga Teacher
Kellie Cook is the founder of The Well Yoga Dubuque and the heart behind the Journey to Freedom program. With over a decade of teaching experience, Kellie creates safe, soul-centered spaces where movement, mindfulness, and faith come together for deep healing and transformation. Her approach is grounded in compassion, shaped by her own healing journey, and rooted in the belief that everyone is capable of change—no matter where they’re starting from. Kellie is passionate about helping others awaken to their true identity in God, release what no longer serves them, and return to a life of purpose, peace, and joy.

YIN and SOUND HEALING
Jen specializes in Yin Yoga and incorporates sound healing into her practice, believing that God can use various forms of healing—through posture, touch, and sound. Her approach encourages deep relaxation and mindfulness, helping her students find peace and balance.
Outside of yoga, she supports her family and loves spending time camping and being in nature. Jen even taught goat yoga, adding a fun and playful touch to her teaching journey!
Jen holds a special place in Kellie’s heart, having been one of her students when Kellie first started teaching at the Bridge Christian Church. Her unwavering support during that time was deeply appreciated, and now, Jen brings the same love and care to her own students at The Well.

YIN | MEDITATION | VINYASA | SOMATIC
Millie has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and teaching for 8. Her training includes power vinyasa, yin, yoga nidra, and meditation. Over the years, her yoga practice has evolved from a purely physical focus to a deeper connection with her spiritual side, helping her heal both physically and mentally from multiple myeloma.
Millie’s goal as a teacher is to build a supportive community and provide her students with tools to connect their mind, body, and spirit. She encourages her students to slow down, ground themselves, and take an active role in shaping their own lives.
She lives in Galena with her husband and two cats. In her free time, Millie enjoys quilting, reading, and spending time in nature.
